Came across his videos on Youtube, and I must say, Murda is on point.

I am from the old school era of rap when "rappers had to be nice"-Styles P. The era when hip hop was real. It is refreshing to know that there are still rappers out there making real music. I don't mean real by just gangster music. I mean real new york talk. real new york passion about how you say something, u know, the way you spit it!.

Anyway, I am feeling Uncle Murda. I don't know if Murda was The Case is the latest mixtape from Uncle Murda, but it is what is playing now. the only track i skipped so far was the one with Wacka Flocka…i think his name is perfect…wacka..lol…peace yall.

Came across Smoke DZA, checked out the official website, and had to share this artist with the ishare fam.

This one is mainly for the smokers.  If you dint get that from his name, maybe a list of his tracks will clue you in;  "Marley & Me Remix", "Continental Kush Breakfast", and "Greenhouse", just to name a few.

Not all of his tracks are THC laden, but definitely a strong talent in this Harlemite. A brief scan of his Bio on MySpace lets me know he has been grindin since 2k5, and brother man is ready to make that next level. Track called Divine Music gives you some insight into the artist known as Smoke DZA. Feeling this cat, more to come.

Go Cop That! Jay is on and popping!

As a long time fan of Jay, I was a little skeptical of his comeback. I mean for real, can he really be staying gritty while being behind a desk? You be the judge…with new lyrics, keeping it real, Jay touches on the issues that have been spilling into the media, with the same lyrical venom that has helped him put him where he is today. I can’t really expect another album like Reasonable Doubt, but I do expect some of the same flavor. Looks like Jay has been staying in touch with the streets.

 

One of my favorite tracks on the new album is called What We Talkin About. Here is a YouTube vid posted with the song only. No download available on this post but enjoy the Blueprint 3 and go get that.
