Young new artists like Logic are rejuvenating the game. I started listening to the tracks from the beginning. Usually i will pick a random track before I decide to listen.
 
I haven't looked up his bio or anything yet. I am actually here just vibing to the mixtape and lettting the tracks play. Nice work. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I did.
I have to say the new generation of artists gives me a good feeling of hope for the future of hip hop. All rappers can't be gangsters right?

This one is a heater. The beat, the delivery. Do you see the glow? That is the glow from the vocal stylings of Dox Diggla. The banger you feel is called "I Won't Leave". Straight. Vibes. The "crew" is called CRASH, of which Dox is a part of. Keeping it in the family.

Came across fam over at http://jansportjmusic.com which then led me over to The Soul Dojo where Nef The Damaja is giving away a free download called Nefarious ii.

Of course I had to preview before I gave up the space on the Music Drive. Needless to say, did not even finish track one before "Click". Your Download has begun.

I am listening to the rest of the 11 tracks, all instrumentals as I compose this entry. Very soothing. This is the first time I have heard anything that I knew was from Nef the Damaja. Tight Works. Follow the link to the page and let me know if you agree.

Post was about a new download..you know we like the free downloads, but disk space is at a premium right now, so it must be the heat.

So anyway the link was to a site called redefined hype. (http://www.refinedhype.com).

There are four other artists on this track, and the site offers the download for free, and asks the audience to vote on who ripped the track the best. Tight work. Kudos. Nice approach to marketing music online, and getting it to go viral. Nothing like some good spirited competition.

With the music market saturated by mainstream and indie artists, you really have to get creative today, as a new artist, in order to get some shine.

So we have been following Thee Tom Hardy for a few months now, always glad to share good music. Feelin it.

Go Cop That! Jay is on and popping!

As a long time fan of Jay, I was a little skeptical of his comeback. I mean for real, can he really be staying gritty while being behind a desk? You be the judge…with new lyrics, keeping it real, Jay touches on the issues that have been spilling into the media, with the same lyrical venom that has helped him put him where he is today. I can’t really expect another album like Reasonable Doubt, but I do expect some of the same flavor. Looks like Jay has been staying in touch with the streets.

 

One of my favorite tracks on the new album is called What We Talkin About. Here is a YouTube vid posted with the song only. No download available on this post but enjoy the Blueprint 3 and go get that.
